The imaginary

The imaginary is this wild cat
who meows to be tamed
and submitted to a gentle will.
The imaginary is throwing out
the colors of fantasy
on a canvas of beyond.
The imaginary is a flowering garden
and forbidden intimacy...
A curve designed from
the invisibility of birth...
The imaginary is a toy
for too serious children,
it breaks very quickly
leaving Alice weeping
when its time for school.
Ending its life in an obscure attic
between an autistic teddy
and a doll that grew up too fast.
This imaginary world I carry within me
like the secret kingdom
of a dream forest
where I draw on the treasure
of my creativity.
