“Hello,” I greeted him as the hooded figure approached me.
“I’m not here for you.” A simple but shattering statement.
“But I came to you!” I pleaded, “I made your job easier!”
“Precisely the problem, go back, kid.” He gestured toward my body with his scythe. But as I looked back I only got angry.
“Take me with you!” I begged, falling to my knees and reaching for his cloak.
“No. It’s not your time,\" He stepped back and turned away from me.
“But I want it to be my time.” I muttered and chased after him. As I ran, my soul seemed to slip through the floor as quicksand. \"H-hey! Help me!\" I cried but the grim reaper walked onward. \"I know you hear me!\" In a flash he turned around.
\"So you do want help then? You don\'t want to be drowning? If you wanted to be dead you wouldn\'t care.\"
\"I don\'t care, I d-d...don\'t...\" And he left me there, falling through the ground, through the air. Falling, falling. Forever falling. Into my body which I tried so desperately to leave.
