When I bought Clyde he was six pounds.
Overnight he grew leaps and bounds.
Why he\'s so huge it just confounds?
And so astounds, and so astounds!
``
Clyde changed my life in many ways,
and from my side he never strays.
Takes up two couches when he lays.
Right there he stays, right there he stays.
``
Clyde eats ten pounds of grits each day.
He eats like a horse in a way.
Sometimes I think I hear him \'neigh\'.
Should feed him hay, should feed him hay?
``
When we go out I don\'t walk Clyde.
I saddle him and then I ride!
One day a pussycat he spied.
I nearly died, I nearly died!
``
Clyde up and took off with a roar.
Rode me through the \"closed\" kitchen door!
Needless to say I ride no more.
My butts still sore, my butts still sore!~
