Kindness
It costs nothing does it, kindness that is ..
So why do so many avoid, or ignore it
and act like they are pulling their own teeth ..
Absent Friends
I notice there are
red berries
on the trees again
this autumn
and in such great
abundance ..
But no wax-wings
to cull them
nor any squirrels,
bullfinches,
or other rodents ..
Last winter,
was hard on them
too my love ..
