Solitude

Most people do not like solitude.

They confuse it with loneliness.

They do not understand its utility.

They work hard to find a mate

And will change themselves for it.

I don\'t want this. I don\'t need this.

It\'s not that I\'m an antisocial person.

I talk to new people, meet them, and

leave them only when my purpose

Is served, and when they start

Becoming a problem for my solitude.

I have realised the ephemeral nature

Of life and people. That\'s why I give

Most of my time to myself.

And I love how day by day

I\'m getting closer to death and reality,

Breaking illusions, experiencing things

That I would never have experienced if

I had been in stupid company.

Solitude gives you all this.
