A little girl falls in a giant\'s arms
For she is exhausted from the heat
Oh the sun shows no empathy nor strength
But the power of the mighty force shall live
A dead butterfly lingers on the tree
As its spirit waves goodbye to such nature
Behold the wave of the fire...
Will it live to see the burning flames?
Oh the solemn giant weeps for her
Such life is so little to contain
And the blasphemy coming out of the sky
It\'s so big and it\'s so vain
Oh little butterfly
What do you think of this giant
Walking this wayward earth?
Such captivity is now free from sinning
This wayward earth is defined
Such a beautiful tree embraces dead souls
Of the wicked they are not
Do my lips not feel the giant\'s kiss?
For the giant\'s kiss is rapid
The fire in the little girl\'s eyes
Speaks of heaven\'s silence galore
And truth be told
He never makes me feel old
For I feel the spirit of the butterfly
Raging in my veins
Consistent are my thoughts of a perfect fairy tale
For the giant has rescued me
From a deprived childhood...
Oh talk to me tulips, how do you grow?
How do you grow from the forest, from the trees?
Shall you live in the honor of the bees?
May my heart be bullied from me?
As the giant turns a blind eye
The world can feel his presence
I storm in my heart for him
For he is not the monster on the hill
And somehow his hands are cold
Oh father, dear father; is that you?
For you\'ve been away from me for so long
My mother died
And left me no memory of you,
But I love you still
For you are my favorite giant
Sitting across from me
At the breakfast table
Every morning.
