Grey Day Sonnet.

What a grey day is was all of the day,

A fine mist in the air all of the time,

Not really rain but the wetness did stay,

And this miserable day was now prime.

Not a glimpse of the brightness did abound,

Just grey and misty for all of the hours,

No matter what the greyness was around,

And misery seemed to always be ours.

Even though the weather was not so good,

My life was still filled with love and wonder,

As beside me my lover always stood,

With love that would never go asunder.

So even on those miserable days

Our love for each other will find its ways.
