I didn\'t notice pieces of me falling off
Hair growing thinner by the day
At such loss I did scoff
Then bits of skin started falling away
Eyes, appendix, gall bladder corroded
As a child my tonsils I lost
Slowly bits of honor eroded
With time, children and wife became the cost
Mind\'s autumn leaves fall
Dementia rotting my brain to nothing
In deafness I hear the dirt call
Now winter\'s cold is coming
