Change Yourself, The World Will Change

Religion guides those
who fear the flames;
spirituality transforms those
who’ve walked through fire.
Happiness is not the seed of gratitude;
gratitude is the seed of happiness.

O seeker, awaken
your divine intelligence and see:
this world is a cradle of joy,
a sanctuary shaped by God’s hands.
It is what I have understood from
the message of Islam,
Islam is not mere religion—
it is life itself,
a conscious embrace of the Eternal,
calling you to live in peace,
to turn this world into paradise,
not a realm of torment.

Blame not the world
for your wickedness,
your sorrows, or your storms.
The shadows you curse
are cast by your own failings.
If the world feels cruel,
it is your darkness
staining its light.
Be good,
and the world will mirror goodness.

Once a mother to your soul,
you’ve tarnished this earth
with neglect and blame.
Return to your fitrah,
your innate harmony with the divine.
Align with creation’s rhythm;
act on the wisdom
stirring within.
For knowledge unpracticed
is a barren tree,
bearing no fruit.

Truth lies not
in rote recitation or chains
of man-made rules.
Wisdom whispers softly within,
undeniable and clear,
revealing this truth:
the world is not to be changed
but understood.
And to change the world,
you must first change yourself.

We tremble at the fleeting nature
of all things,
yet it is we who make them fragile.
Do not curse the earth
as you grow rigid, oppressive,
forgetting the divine command
etched within your soul.

When life’s meaning eludes you
and despair fills the void,
say to yourself:
“I am not who I must be.
I will change.
I will not war against the earth,
my mother.”

The world is good
if you are good.
The world is bad
if you are bad.
As you are,
so is the world.
