LOST WALLET
On losing his wallet my friend said to me
I‘ve not found it yet but I know where ‘twill be:
it’ll be in the last place that I explore’
- a fatuous comment I chose to ignore -
for who would continue searching around
when the wallet that’s lost is already found.
