You shared with me Your poetry
You shared with me Your heart and soul
So enlightening and passionate
Each word floats into my ears
Planting itself upon my soul
Your wards opened Heaven\'s door
Your words brought me straight to Hell\'s gate
Truth in your poetry
Pure and simple
When I shared with you my poetry
I could see you were just as captivated
My words like yours
Opened doors and pathways for you
When we were done
We rest
Exhausted but energized
