The monster in the Forest
Being an unwanted danger
With his mind set on a special quest
To not be a treacherous stranger
He marked the woods as his territory
And in the shadows at the dead of night
Being nice to them was mandatory
And he didn’t want to fight
But he was an ugly beast and all he got
Were the disgusted faces from the people
They left him out there just to rot
And then he showed them he wasn’t feeble
The monster killed and hunted
Everything that bothered him
The men that tried and confronted
Were slain under the grey sky grim
The monster ran and hid
And ate the scraps from the floor
The dark alleyways people forbid
Who roamed around knew no more
But all he wanted was to love and cherish
But was forced to steal the bread and cheese
The women wanted him to perish
And leave their town in peace
The monster attempted to hold their hearts
And tried to be respected
But all he got were just disparts
And felt like he was deeply affected
With a wretched torn hole in his desire
His battles with disgust like words on a page
But the pain radiated through him like fire
And he finally knew there wasn’t nothing but rage
His master was in debt of his sanity
He blamed everything on his creator
He fought against humanity
The anger being the accelerator
He realised he never could understand
How to be a true friend
This wasn’t how he had planned
And his sadness wouldn’t end
Lumbering through every depth of the forest
Feeling left with nowhere to belong
Under the leafy canopy it was darkest
Trailing down through the path and along
He was rejected, hated and loathed
He was despised, disliked and detested
He was dirty, and in rags he was clothed
But he kept on and protested
When he wanders around
The moon will shine
His footprints never to be found
All you see is his outline
His teeth gleaming as he growls
Full of anger falls on his knees
In complete rage he howls
His presence marking a disease
His arms muscular and torn
His body towering up above
His appearance like an evil storm
But he just wanted to love
The monster in the Forest
With a sense of endless agony
Became a myth and folklorist
Of all his murders and antagony
