It was meant to be forbidden,
Yet, to me, the forbidden became my favorite.
It tasted different from the usual,
And it never ceased to amaze me.
I knew it was a sin,
But its sweetness clouded my judgment.
So, I let go of the Holy Ghost
And followed the shadow of an ugly ghost.
I knew it was a mistake,
One that could cost me dearly.
Yet, I couldn’t slow down
What was done was done.
The pain was heavy,
But the adrenaline rushing through me was worth it.
I swept the pain away,
And I savored that fleeting feeling.
For the forbidden was truly delicious,
And the thought of being unique amplified my desire.
I would give anything to stand out,
And this felt like the only way out.
