If there any consolation
In Christ, He God\'s own Son
If any encouragement fair
With fellow mankind share
And too if there any comfort
Of love let it be sought
If any fellowship there be
Of the Spirit freely
Share these too, and be like-minded
Holding to Christ our Head
Have the same love, being of one
Accord, of one mind run* (*run = live, behave)
And let nothing be done through strife
Or vain-glory, the life
Of Christ show, be lowly in mind
Tender-hearted and kind
Let each esteem other better
Than themselves, so defer
From thinking of self only, do
Consider others too
