Standing in the last telephone box
In the U.K. watching the world pass by.
There\'s only three types of people left
The dead and the dying and those that
Are alive saying there ok but
There lying.
We\'re all connected now
But were all so alone
I guess I\'m seeking solace
Standing holding this phone.
There\'s nobody I can think of
To call even if I did I don\'t have
The coins to make that call
They don\'t exist no more.
With no answer coming
I put the receiver down
And exit the last telephone box
Just before they tear it down.
