Tree Cut Down

You felt the flutter of the breeze
The rain cry all it\'s tears
North winds strenthen then ease
You were alive for a hundred years

It all happened in a blur
They came and set you alight
No-one knows who they were
Kids hiding in the night

I wonder how they would feel
If flames swallowed them in the park
If life ordered them to kneel
All just for a lark.
