The Moon, the Sun, and the Earth

The Moon smiled upon the sight of Earth

Not knowing the secrets that lie beneath the dirt

As the moon lit up, Earth turned away

With a secret they\'ll take to the grave

The day has come for Earth to tell the Moon of their lies

The Earth was the Sun in disguise

The Moon\'s tears fell like raindrops on a stormy day

For the Sun and Moon couldn\'t be together anyway

The Sun was either warm or too hot

There was no in between, really

The Moon however was cold, more often than not

It\'s such a pity

Said the moon to the Sun

One day soon, when the day is over and the night has begun

The sun replied

With burning tears in their eyes

The Sun\'s tears fall like shooting stars on Earth

Not knowing the secrets that lie beneath the dirt
