Dear Loss by Alexander Vertinsky

The most tender love comes to an end,  eventually.

The yarn of endless melancholy breaks, nevertheless

What should I do with you, and with myself, finally,

How can I forget you, my dear disappearance?

Soon you will become someone\'s tender fidel   wife,

Thoughts will become calmer and hair   slightly smoother.

And from our ardent young love on behalf

Not even an address will remain in memory shatter

And someday you, you completely alone -

There will be twilight in a clean and tidy house,

You will approach the phone, deathly pale on,

You will dial a number lost in memory  chaos.

And someone else\'s voice will answer to you:

\"He left long ago, there is not even an address\"...

And you will cry bitterly, my only friend true

How can I find you, my dear disappearance?
