Knowledge No more

I will not have knowledge anymore,
I want to feel something.
The books about me are my enemies.
They laugh at me throwing facts like stones.

I want to feel something.
I want to walk into the sea up to my neck.
My heart wants to beat in time with the tides.
Don’t tell me the Truth; it is a Monster to me now.
I want to let a butterfly land on my nose and I want to giggle.

Take those theories from great men and burn them.
For me they are doors to oblivion.
Let me stand in the pouring rain with my arms outstretched and let me laugh.

Oh let me rest with music in my ears,
That I might not ever understand anything.
God, this world just wants to know love for the first time.
