Just like that, a little bit of hope was brought back,
And you reinstated in me something that I always thought I lacked.
I blamed myself for so long, wondering why everything would always fall through,
And wondering if there was anything left for me to do.
That I was the reason that everything would go wrong,
And I hated myself because of it for so long.
Then you came along, and brought the light back into my eyes,
And when everything went dark, you helped me to see a bright sky.
That at any moment, things can always turn back around,
And lend you a hand to help pick you up off of the ground.
Overtime I have realized that there are many people who will come and go,
And can lift you back up when you are feeling low.
Coming back after being broken is one of the hardest things that you can do,
But you know that one way or another, you have to find a way to pull through.
Things will never get better if you don\'t allow yourself to take that chance,
Because it might find you when you least expect it, someone who gives you that hopeful glance.
The gleam in their eyes that you were looking for when all hope was lost,
That makes you realize everything you have been through was worth the cost.
If it happened any other way, you wouldn\'t be here today,
Finally being able to find the right words to say.
That maybe it didn\'t happen yet, but you know by the end of the year it will,
Because you finally found the person who allows that void in your heart to be filled.
