Just leave me alone

# The Echo of Silence

In the crowded room, a solemn plea,
A quiet whisper no one seems to see.
Amidst the laughter, the noise, the cheer,
A heart\'s true wish falls on deaf ears.

The world surrounds with its joyous sound,
But in this throng, solace can\'t be found.
They gather close, assuming joy is there,
Yet in my heart, there\'s a weight to bear.

I wear a smile, a practiced guise,
Concealing the storm that brews inside.
For in solitude, I seek my peace,
A longing for the chatter to cease.

¨Respect my space¨, the silent cry,
To be alone, to breathe, to sigh.
But they think presence cures the ache,
Not knowing it\'s solitude I wish to take.

In shadows deep where whispers dwell,
I find a peace they cannot quell.
A gentle pause, a quiet reprieve,
From the noise that refuses to leave.

So hear me, world, in your endless stride,
Sometimes solace is found when none abide.
Respect the boundaries, the space I need,
In the quiet, my soul is freed.

I need a place to hide
And shut out all the feelings inside
But people expect me
To be a beautiful nice and set free
