Hey!

 The Heart\'s Dilemma

In the quiet corridors of the heart,

Where dreams and memories intertwine,
There lies a choice, a path to chart,
Between two souls that both align.

One from the past, a love once known,
His laughter echoes in distant lands,
A tender bond that time has sown,
Yet distance now divides our hands.

The other stands within my reach,
A presence strong and warm and near,
His eyes like oceans, tales to teach,
Yet choosing him, the past I fear.

*Oh, how fantasy dances in my mind,*
*Where both loves hold my heart as one,*
*A world where choices are unconfined,*
*And pain is lost, and joy begun.*

Yet reality tugs with gentle might,
A decision waits, a truth untold,
Between the shadows, in the light,
A story new, or one of old.

The heart aches with every beat,
A tug of war, a silent plea,
To let go of what was once so sweet,
Or embrace what new love could be.

In this labyrinth of love and woe,
Where every step writes history,
May courage guide, and wisdom show,
The path to peace, to clarity.

For in this choice, though painful, true,
A future beckons, bright and wide,
Whether with the past, or with the new,
The heart will find its rightful guide.
