Mid Point

O, that lovely mid-point

Where the midday sun casts it\'s light

When the beginning is a distant memory

And the end not yet in sight;

That safe half-way feeling

Not young anymore, not old

All feels good in your life

All you touch is gold;

Gone, the angst of adolescent years

Yet to come, the swirling oceans of grey

Settled, comfortable and mellow

With dreams still leading the way.
