The Tree That Grew Us All

Once stood a mighty tree, so strong and wide,
With roots that ran deep, and branches stretched high.
Each branch a child, reaching for the sky,
Yet always held firm by the roots’ gentle tie.

You, dear brother, were a flower in bloom,
Bright and bold, bringing color and perfume.
And when the butterfly danced into your space,
She guided you to find your own special place.

Now you stand as a tree, proud and tall,
But don’t forget the roots that nurtured it all.
The strength you hold, the petals you show,
Are born from the soil where our family’s love grows.

The butterfly brought warmth, joy, and light,
But remember the tree that sheltered your fight,
The storms endured, the winds that blew,
The sacrifices made to see you bloom.

So, as you stand in your own steady ground,
Know that the roots still reach all around.
No distance can break what’s always been true,
The tree that once held you still holds you too.
