Writers Doubt

Writers Doubt.

Thoughts to paper as your mind starts to unravel.

All your words and feelings start to slowly travel.

In some form or other they will eventually arrive.

As the poetic words gradually starts to come alive.

They flow freely like a tap of pure cleansing water.

Fears, thoughts and emotions all brought together.

When you read back then comes the writer’s doubt.

Will anyone connect with what it is really all about.

Does it make common sense or is it just confusing.

Are the words from the heart or just another illusion.

Do the words really mean what you think they mean.

Will the true meaning of your write be clearly seen.

What happens if there is no one who understands it.

There`s a chance they think your poems are just shit.

It could be possible that no one will read you\'re write.

Will that cause worry and play on your mind at night.

People could well like it, shower you positive praise.

Just as easily their thoughts could be the other way.

It’s possible they won’t like; rejection can give pain.

Will you think twice before you decide to write again.

Don’t worry if they see something you haven\'t seen.

Maybe you gave too much of your constant dreams.

You could be surprised at the words that you write.

Not knowing that’s how you’re really feeling inside.

Although all the words might leave your soul bare.

Be proud that your words you are willing to share.

When the words are of value and meaning to you.

Then writing with truth and vigour is all you can do.

Don\'t doubt the words that come out of your head.

It eases life and puts some of the emotions to bed.

I do not write for pleasure or gain, I just right for me.

Though I am happy if some pleasure people receive.

So, keep your pen to the paper let all the words out.

Do not look back and don\'t ever have writer’s doubt.

I feel better now as I have cleared my jumbled head.

I think I’m out of words, because it has all been said.
