Echos of Yesterday
Ecclesiastes 7:10
Say not thou, What is the cause that the former days were better than these? for thou dost not enquire wisely concerning this.
Do not ask of days gone by, For wisdom fades when we rely On echoes lost in endless time—Today’s the gift, the call divine.
Love your God, obey His way,
Leave the past, embrace this day.
