Plot For Redevelopment.
I saw a real estate on my travels sign saying small plot available for redevelopment, imagination, initiative and hard work will be required
The plot had clearly seen better days, and it was letting the surrounding areas down, stood out like a boil on your nose.
All around the plot there were well maintained clean, tidy and clearly loved areas, which made you ask why this area is so run down.
You got the sense the plot had been abandoned for a long time, and something told you it wasn\'t by want or choice, this had been forced upon the previous owners.
There were areas that looked like they had been well used but had now been discarded, died and had just been left to rot.
As I travelled around the plot you could see little remnants showing the area was once well loved, you could see where life used to be.
Little bits of photos, letters from people gone by reminders of relationships just strewn across the wasteland, empty containers that were once filled with something more joyful.
Even though it was abandoned you could still feel the raw feelings and emotions that appeared stuck in a time warp clinging onto the debris.
In the centre of the plot, it was just pure devastation it looked like it had been bulldozed everything torn down, it had been looted for everything it had
There was a giant hole that I stood overlooking, I nervously looked down into this deep dark chasm that gave the impression it was the entrance to hell.
The hole appeared to go on to the depths of the earth as you looked in you got this overpowering feeling of loss, loneliness and sadness.
Even thou it was uneasy standing there, something drew you in like a lost friend syndrome, you do not why but you feel a connection to something.
As the sunlight caught the top off the hole you could see little mounds clinging to the sides, looking like old wounds that had scabbed over, it appeared devoid of any type of life.
After much deliberation i thought the ground, I could redevelop but the hole started to make me think twice, would it be too much for me.
I had no idea where it ended, what has caused it, does it really go on forever, could I do all that on my own, I doubted I had the required skills to fix it permanently.
I decided not to go ahead and redevelop that plot, and it is still available for redevelopment.
