It May Not Be Just Me

It may not be just me, just ourselves (meaning \'self\' in the singular) if affected by some problem, difficulty, etc. Maybe we can add \'misfortune. though I don\'t believe in \'fortune\'.

It\'s all of us really - all who are involved in the problem, difficulty, call it what we will. Though we ourselves can be taken up with thinking \'What about ME?\' and sort of cancel out or think less of others in the same situation. Yet we may still care about others, going through, suffering, etc, the same or similar as we ourselves are.

Having a faith surely helps, though that\'s what it is - faith. We can\'t see it as a tangible thing.

And \'Out of sight, out of mind\' may cause us to think less of others, though again, we may still care about them - people or animals, or both, if both are involved.

Well, the Bible says \'If we are in trouble, to pray; if we are joyful, to sing Psalms\'. It\'s not the other way round, though I suppose we can still sing in times of trouble, and pray in times of joy. Also, not taking anything for granted, nor being in escapism.
