Deep scars line the skin,
Cold steel glides–crimson liquid spills,
Thoughts and actions feel like sin,
Cover up by sleeves–too deep it might kill.
Past thoughts come back to haunt,
Trying so desperately to ignore the taunt,
Disconnected from the ones I trust,
Giving up hope, only one can entrust.
Shunned by everyone you thought you knew,
Don\'t know the struggles inside,
What thoughts that once held truth,
Now seem like a bunch of lies.
Inner turmoil–can\'t trust,
Desperately needed that final thrust.
Longing to leave the world behind,
Endless tiredness from the world around,
Tainted thoughts of the thanatos invade my mind,
Just one action and I can forever rest–in the ground.
Mind racing, wrong or right?
I seen now that I’ve lost the internal fight,
Mind made up, set in stone,
The only peace I can find is when I’m gone–Gripping the knife,
Until knuckles turn white,
One more cut–I can forever race into the night.
