In the twilight just the other day,
there by the ocean I was standing,
a sunset in the lovely may,
silence though, notwithstanding,
my elusive thoughts and their poetic way.
A scenic beauty of nature around me,
the occasional pause to see the dim light,
is a source of joy to my heart and perhaps tranquility
seeps in like the aurora forging the night,
and bringing back the cycle of continuity.
My thoughts wander here and there,
like a random feather on its journey,
bringing melancholy to some and joy to the rare,
who see past the darkness of eternity,
and walk readily to tomorrow, their feet bare.
With so many questions, I ponder,
about life, magic and its wonder.
I find some answers in the evening sky,
and the rest in white clouds,
like my eyes so dry.
