Kevin Hulme

The Right Honourable Gentleman

My M.P. and I quote: \'Is a diligent Man\',

He knows what\'s gone wrong and he has the right plan.

He\'ll fight for your Cause and \'Chair\' a debate,

Then hope you forget before it\'s too late.

He has the Newest of Phones, and a Mower for his lawn,

Then puts it all down on the \'Expenses Form\'.

All Bandwagons he\'ll ride , for it makes him look fine,

Knowing deep down inside they are wasting their time.

And when it comes to a Vote in the \'Commons\' at Night,

He\'ll be sat in the Bar getting merrily tight .

When it\'s Dinner for Two with the Love of his life,

It\'s Coffee and Liquor; then home to the Wife.

He\'ll give you a Promise on the Bible with ease,

But Pledges are Structures that collapse with the breeze.

So this is my M.P. ;  the choice of the town,

But when ever you need him,

He can never be found.

You can seek him here , you can seek him there;

But in this Borough;  Nor Hide Nor Hair.
