Heartstrings

you stripped me of my pure innocence

took everything i had left

of my virginal title was it theft

this burden bestowed upon me

with relieving me of something so dear to me

formed by societies vanity

i feared god would have no empathy

as it was my fault i lost my virginity

you strung me to this bed of dying roses

as you parted my legs like the seas of moses

my body a no man’s land

was intruded by your hand

you burned my bloom with fire and flames

this parental perversion

has left my premature body stained

this debacle which left me shunned

shall no longer stay contained
