Sian, she sits in a lonely room,
Hugging at her knees
Should she go to London Town,
Or stay where her roads are clean?
Sian, she sits on a wooden chair,
She falls onto her knees
She longs to be in London Town,
Where her words aren’t clean
She’s let her head go wild, and ride
Off into the sun
She shakes the dignity from her skin,
And says, “young lady, live alone,”
He strayed her back unto the wall,
Sits her among the thorns
She will bare this baby down,
As when the dark sees dawn
As when the seed within her falls back within the dark,
Sian, she cries herself off to sleep,
Says, “lady you’re alone,”
Betrayed she let the father fall backwards,
With a scorn
She hugged her knees fell at his feet,
And said,
“Please don’t leave me alone,”
Laughed to himself, and knocked her back,
Hit her wounded womb
Sian, she fell into a sleep,
Her smile falls pale as milk
She begged to him, she’s on her knees,
She begged to take her back
He swerved the sides of his Bonny Bride
His cracks as clear as glass
“What makes you break your back, young Sian?
See me as you will,
You falsify your wills my love
Young lady, live alone,
London Town is not your home,
Not your home to stay
And if I leave you come with me,
Between us there is no other way”
The man he grabbed her by the face,
Crushed her cheeks into his hands
Tears they fell down young Sian’s face,
She’s laid bare amongst the rose that’s red
In her home a maiden fair,
She’s Jodie by the name
She’s swept apart from lips and feet,
By the man who hath no name
A brown haired Bon looked into his eyes,
And instantly went weak
He held her tight, she feared him not,
And with him she went to sleep
Sian, she woke up in a daze,
She couldn’t fall asleep
From the room next door, she heard a sound,
So through the crack she did peep
It startled her, it scared her off
All what she could see
Was the man she loved with another girl…
She let the stream fall from her throne,
Her head’s amongst the thorns
No tears streaming down her face,
No sign of a broken heart
Stood still, deflated, in a daze
She held him to her sleep
All what could be heard were three loud bangs…
Sian could be seen bleeding from the rock,
Within the womb
Trembles as she falls towards the floor,
Young lady, you’re alone
Holds her hands towards her heart,
It’s beating like a jet
As Jodie lays beside him dead
Sian, she gets up in a spree,
She’s scared, stiffened at the knees
As she checks a pulse in Jodie’s heart,
She can feel her baby kick
A tragedy, or miracle,
Her child she has to bare
Without her man there at her side
She bares her within the roses red
A baby laid still in her arms,
A miracle who cries
Sian cried a bit as she held her close
She could hear her daughter’s eyes
“I promise you, I will always love,
You I promise for I’ll care,”
Then tragedy took away what’s good,
Her baby’s laid amongst the roses red
She let the stream fall from her throne,
Her head’s amongst the thorns
No tears streaming down her face,
No sign of a broken heart
Stood still, deflated, in a daze
She held her to her sleep
