Emmet Riverwood

Deep Blue Bellflower

Every chime prolongs my grief

Stolen time by a lying thief

I celebrate my past years

Thrown away like souvenirs

Placed around my neck a noose

I don’t bound but I spring loose

From the tower, out the cage

A coward

Waiting for a golden age

Deep blue bellflower

I fell from the bell tower

Lasting silence

Sounds that revile us

My conscience could float

Above the crowd of my emotions

It opens the road

That pulls me into deep wild oceans
