On colored nights

On colored nights

Weeping strings colored hanging high,
she sends her tears across the sky.
The earth she each night for them cries,
for each creature that day that dies.

Each string she outwardly slips,
northern lit then she downward drips.
Each creatures view upwardly grips,
across the sky at the colored strips.

Her eyes distanced from our view,
her weeping strings that she threw.
The colors staining deeply through,
above so high her tears she drew.

On colored nights she cries,
upwards in our gazing eyes.
