Wrath of the Wild

Wrath of the Wild

The earth quakes with restless might,
Splitting stone, swallowing light.
Thunder roars in furious cries,
Lightning tears apart the skies.

The ocean rises, waves take flight,
Drowning shores in endless night.
The wind howls, a banshee’s wail,
Ripping trees, making mountains frail.

Fire scorches the forest floor,
Turning life to ash and lore.
Torrents rage with icy hands,
Carving scars in fragile lands.

The beast of famine stalks the plains,
Wilting crops, denying gains.
The frost grips hearts in bitter cold,
Freezing breath, turning young to old.

And when the storm has left its mark,
The sun glares down, relentless, stark.
Deserts burn, the sandstorm flies,
Choking earth beneath cruel skies.

Yet from the ruins, roots will rise,
Nature bends but never dies.
