Missed Calls

I left 10 missed calls on your phone,
Each one a silent cry in a hollow tone.
Echoes of words I couldn’t say,
Fading in blue screens slipping away.
You moved like smoke through crowded halls,
Untouched, unfazed by my late-night calls.
I’m drowning in thoughts you’ll never hear,
Every dial tone whispers you’re not near.
Memories stuck on loop in my head,
Replays of things we never said.
I stitched my heart into fragile texts,
Left on read, like I’m some ex.
Your shadow lingers in my room,
Painted in shades of ghostly gloom.
I chase the echoes down empty streets,
Hoping your voice and mine might meet.
But silence is cruel when love turns cold,
Like messages lost in stories untold.
And I’m stuck counting stars that fall,
While you ignore my 10 missed calls.
