Peace upon me on this silent night
Lying under stars of different light,
No troubles of mine to be had
And no reason for I to be sad
Across town, Ms. Jones sat alone
Not yet knowing she was on her own,
As she hadn\'t yet found Mr. Jones
Whose soul had left his earthly bones
My neighbor, the young Sarah
Retreated into her minds chimera,
Where her body was still free and pure
After what a trusted man did to her
An old friend, who I never truly knew
Would strike his supposed love on cue,
Creating a household of pain abound
Where children hide from the sound
But it all made no difference to me
For I was outside and free,
Lying peacefully on this silent night
Where only my stars shown this bright
