Cheeky Missy
On My Best Friend\'s Birthday...
...because, well, you know.
Say \"Whadya Know?\" Like That Will Do
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCCCLXXIV)
How robins sing, and plovers cry from hence,
Whilst sparrows gaily chatter, blue skies hale
Sans blot or cloud it seems, grass to avail
Both very green and trimmed, like for intents,
A faded, checkered flag winds ply from thence
Forever waving or half limp, calm silence frail
Yet quite alive where none stir, aught detail
In something of a slow waltz sans pretense.
Chill airs fade in the sun\'s keen eye as t\'were,
Heat lately forecast like May ever knew.
Ope first a window, then the door in tour,
And find relief in cooling breezes through
The latter, as this silence begs fer
Amusement where, oh LORD, I wait for You.

What would you choose?
And If You Had the Choice
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCCCLXXV)
Alas? I\'m having too much fun, sans bail?
Tis only half past nine, my salad dense
With import as a \"kit,\" late mixt up, whence?
But oh! tis tasty as the golden light\'s detail
Bathes all in warmth, and songs flit through t\'avail
These quiet \'scapes where calm rules with a sense
Of rest in tow despite the clock, defense
Enow, methinks, whilst shadows wait, or fail.
With blue cheese dressing and six veggies, we\'re
Non\' rolling, and in style! The bathroom\'s cue
Smells like an outhouse, but though that is poor,
Who can howl whilst songs trim this sunwashed view?
Fill our mouths with Thy praise, oh LORD, and stir
Us to see far off now, and to wait You.

...too much? Don\'t say so.
Just Thinking, Perhaps A Tad
(sonnet #MMMMMMMMMCCCLXXVI)
I\'d coffee in a tea cup ere dawn, whence
Tea-lem\'nade in day\'s early hours\' detail,
That should suffice for my caffeine, t\'avail,
My schedule with a double, I\'ve defense
On all counts, seems. One hour twixt shifts fr\'intents,
Could hit the car wash on my way like bail
For my subscription, and how naught would fail,
Today so lonely for all that from hence.
Watch highway traffic madly race as t\'were,
And shadows grow from almost nothing to
Grey, slender lengths that swalllow up in tour
All that we\'d known. Think \'gain of home--tears too
Erm, freely come, yet none are watching. Poor
As Mother\'s Day sans, and long hours, what\'s true?
