Belief\'s Binding Power

Inertia, the world blowing past

While staying firm in one’s tracks.

Your stomach squirms and squeams,

And your head spins with no ease.

There’s something troubling with fighting the current.

It’s easier to go with the culture, not a deterrent,

But as a drone of a religion,

For nothing seems wrong in your opinion.

If the float is pure mindless,

Then there is no purpose.

You’ll drown, you’ll die.

Not even caring to sigh.

And when one swims with the stream,

The power surges, strong, and serene.

Few things are stronger than mob mentality,

And no way in heaven will that be passivity.

Fight to the end, at least you believed.

Only God knows, you might rest in peace.
