I planted my first one,
about ten years ago.
I had know idea it would take,
two and a half years to grow.
... but I\'m learning as I go,
and I\'m better than I was,
ten years ago.
Sometimes I still,
buy them from the store,
but the ones from my backyard,
is so much sweeter though.
If anything, it teaches you patience.
I, literally, reap what I sow.
Again... I, literally, enjoy,
the fruits of my labor,
as my knowledge of pineapples,
continues to grow.
Thankfully, they\'re low maintenance.
It doesn\'t really take much:
just water, sun, and weed and bug spray,
but most importantly,
it needs the Lord\'s touch.
