Night Haunting.

I haven’t yet slept.

But I swear I’m in a dream.

In an unfamiliar place.

I shouldn’t have been there.

Walking in those dark corridors.

Where men go to die.

Unspeakable evil.

Chills running up and down my spine.

It’s sweltering in our hotel room.

Suddenly we aren’t alone.

Cold air pours in.

I’m paralyzed from fear.

A storm cloud looms overhead.

My heart escaping my chest.

You feel its presence.

And you begin to pray.

Your light recedes the darkness.

Retreating to the depths below.

Whatever you were.

I hope you stay there, and never return.
