I know that I carry much on my shoulders.
It feels as though I carry thousands of boulders,
But please, do not worry for me.
I\'d hate for you to scrape your knee,
Or to stub your toes,
Or muddy your clothes,
Trying to carry this weight with me.
So for your sake, please,
Forget about helping me.
I am infinitely grateful that you choose to stay,
But, I\'ll cause you no problems if I just keep away,
I\'d fear to use you as a stepping stone,
So through a smile I\'ll make known
that, no thank you, I can do this on my own.
