Love and Pain

Shadows creep, darkness crawls,

Across my cheek, into my all.

The sour words you speak,

Makes any mans knees weak.

And light restores the all.

Emotion lost, emotion found.

My fingers crossed.

May luck abound.

Tell me softly thy love,

As winter blinds a fiery cave.

And caress my selfless mind,

Where hindsight rewinds.

For the love of you I linger,

As pain with you a stranger.
