If You Are Love, Then I Am Yours

If you are heaven, then take me tonight,
Let my soul melt into your endless light.
To soar where angels dare not fly,
With you, my darling—the earth, the sky.

If you are tears, let them fall like rain,
Each drop a echo of joy and pain.
For sorrow sings when you’re near,
A song so sweet, the heart must hear.

If you are fire, I’ll dance in the flame,
Burn me, brand me—I’ll still call your name.
For every scar, for every ache,
Is but the price my heart will take.

If you’re the ocean, I’ll dive to the deep,
Where storms may rage and shadows creep.
No tide too fierce, no wave too wide,
To keep me far from your wild tide.

If you are winter, I’ll be the snow,
Melting softly where your touches go.
And if you’re autumn, I’ll be the leaves,
Falling gently where your love breathes.

For no matter the season, the shape, the name,
My heart will love you all the same.
In every lifetime, every rhyme,
I’d find you—time after time.
