It was live a little, love a little

when I was having fun in Acapulco

but it became such a night

when the spinout on the speedway

                                                                          brought me double trouble.

At the jailhouse they took away my shoes.

I say easy come, easy go

but now I’m on the loose

and I can’t follow that dream

‘cause my blue moon turned to gray

and I’m running wild in the country every day.

When her mitigation of the light no longer prevailed

The mountains spewed their blistering ashes skyward

The seven oceans and all lakes began to seethe

The fire of the devil was set free upon the land

Fire widened to embrace all of the known and peoples.

Like the Sun, the world will then burn and glow forever

The time of Man will have reached its natural end
