So it’s our fault again
Us Oldies,
Still living in the house
That we bought many years ago.
They say it is too big for us
At our time of life
We need to move,
Move to something smaller.
So that the youngsters can move in.
They cannot afford to buy any more
As the people with the money
Build houses out of the price range
Of most people.
They sit there
In their castles in the air,
Just fuelling their greed,
From the hard times they are creating,
For those trying to stay alive.
