Poetic Dan

Celestial Sanctuary

It started sweetly,

the first kiss tenderly—

a chill pill from within me,

breaking through the tragedy.

Each time passion entwined,

chemical reactions redefined.

Moment to moment, more sublime,

becoming more than just minds.

Lost in waves of translation,

diluting who we were meant to be.

Vibrations move in harmony,

realigning our sanctuary.

Disillusioned by the path,

the need to be loved so hard.

Lucid fractures lace the heart,

speech frozen in tangles too sharp.

Many could not watch the bleeding scars.

A tongue that once caressed

turns into the taste of reject—

light to dark in a flick of a switch.

The dwelling is gone,

yet the foundation is strong.

All elements expose the storm,

to harmonize where we belong.

Say it like you mean it—

you’ll never be wrong.

It’s written in the stars:

we sing our own song.

Let the tears fall.

Let those who will, walk.

Nothing is ever at fault;

listen twice as much as we talk.
