They are after her

She is very beautiful
And very thoughtful,
In a cabin with boyfriends,
All sit around her chair.
She laughs, and they
Clap; she shakes hands
With them, they talk
All day, joking and playing
All day. But when
They come out, they discuss
The way she behaves
With others. I hear them
Saying she has no good
Character, she is selfish.
Her smile creates wounds
In their hearts, as her rosy lips
All dream to kiss. But
Her character, they say,
Rings an alarming bell.
Their hearts fill with hate;
They are like wolves or hounds,
Wanting to hunt her, fearing
Her character, and hating her.
Their love for her is fleeting,
Like a flash to a bear or grass to a deer.
They keep close to her
And feel hate if others see her.
If she talks with some other
Fellow, they deem her character
Low.
