Serenade of a Follower

All I have to offer Thee
is my voice.
O God, would You accept this
as a gift?

I pray for a repentant heart.
I pray for an attentive spirit.

To utter discreetly of a still whisper,
as a gentle breeze of a peaceful morn,
to soothe Thus:
all Praise to Thee, O Prince of Peace.

To utter casually of a common speech,
as a normal ambient of a routine day,
to speak Thus:
all Loyalty to Thee, O Bread of Life.

To utter loudly of a thunderous shout,
as a blazing storm of a restless night,
to yell Thus:
all Glory to Thee, O Son of God!

I beseech Thee to lend me a clear voice for Thy Honor.
I beseech Thee to lend me a direct voice for Thy Splendor.

O that I may have a serious devotion.
O that I forbid to only feel an emotion.

My throat is a tool ready for great avail
while the vessel sounds from the device
apt signals to the waves volume
correctly to the afreshed metal
connecting the spirit with Thy Power.

To bestow Thy Ears this song from a
Serenade of a Follower:

Father, I love Thee.
Thy Power doth embolden
this body to be in awe of Thee.

Jesus, I worship Thee.
Thy Resurrection doth encourage
these veins to be bold for Thee.

Holy Spirit, I adore Thee.
Thy Presence doth repose
my bones to be still by Thee.

My chords are fit like a clean vessel
to be employed at all places:

In a silent song under my roof.
In a moderate melody among my circle.
In a coherent chorus from my pew.
In a salient shout from my mount!

O let this vessel output clear joyful noises.
Blessed be Thy Goodness,
My Creator.

My mouth is fine like a ready devise
to be set at all paces:

A slow pace considers Thy Wonders
to esteem Thy Great Works.

A mediate pace respects Thy Guidance
to admire Thy Perfect Ways.

A fast pace enjoys Thy Potency
to applaud Thy Awesome Power!

O let this devise output great adept pieces.
Blessed be Thy Graciousness,
Blessed be Thy Goodness,
My Advocate.

My range is broad like a wide wave
to be fine-tuned in all pitches:

The high voice from the surface of
my body to perform the
true intentions of my heart:
to please Thee.

The median voice from the consideration of
my mind to think of the
true intentions of my heart:
to praise Thee.

The low voice from the depths of
my soul to reach the
true desires of my heart:
to love Thee.

O let this wave output beyond good hearing.
Blessed be Thy Greatness,
Blessed be Thy Graciousness,
Blessed be Thy Goodness,
My Redeemer.

My soul is prepped like a refined metal
to be used in all moods:

In a tumultuous state as anxiety
and chaos dim my mind,
to be thus brought at Peace
from Thy Word.

In a maddened mire as wrath
and scorch raze my reason,
to be thus cooled with Comfort
from Thy Mouth.

In a submerged pit as pain
and pity drowns my heart,
to be thus drained with Love
from Thy Arms.

In a gleeful gaze as joy
and bliss uplifts my soul,
to be thus delighted with Care
from Thy Heart.

O let this soul output real pure love:
Blessed be Thy Gentleness,
Blessed be Thy Greatness,
Blessed be Thy Graciousness,
Blessed be Thy Goodness,
My Messiah.

My spirit is amazed, humbled, and honored to sing to Thee:

All Praise to Thee, O Prince of Peace,
All Loyalty to Thee, O Bread of Life,
All Glory to Thee, O Son of God,
Blessed be Thy Gentleness,
Blessed be Thy Greatness,
Blessed be Thy Graciousness,
Blessed be Thy Goodness,
My Savior.
